Assignment of roles
Add external services from SAP CRM to the proposal values
Once you have defined your criteria for executing the report, you can create different variants for the report and schedule corresponding jobs to automatically lock down or invalidate the inactive users. If you want to start the report in a system that is connected to a Central User Management, you should consider the following points: You can only set local user locks. You can set the validity period only if the maintenance is set to Local in the settings of the Central User Management (this setting is set in the SCUM transaction).

The test for the assignment of the SAP_ALL profile is carried out in the SOS differently than in the EWA: If a user is found, assigned to SAP_ALL, and you have not entered it in the corresponding whitelist, it will still be hidden in the subsequent permission checks. Identified users will be output either through a complete list or through examples of specific users. In both cases, you can download the full list in the SAP Solution Manager's ST14 transaction. You can use the Check ID to map user lists to the permission checks. However, you should note that these lists do not contain the evaluations of the whitelists.
Centrally review failed authorisation checks in transaction SU53
In the transaction SU01, enter a non-existent user ID and click the Create button (F8). The BAdI BADI_IDENTITY_SU01_CREATE is called with the new user ID. Implementation in the BAdI is running. For example, here you can read additional attributes to the new user from an external data source. The data collected within the BAdIs is written into the fields of the transaction SU01. This will show you the new user master set with the pre-filled fields. You can edit the user master record, such as assign roles, or change the pre-populated fields.

Protect your system from unauthorised calls to RFC function blocks from the S_RFC authorization object by obtaining the necessary permissions using the statistical usage data. In many organisations, the primary focus in the permission environment is on protecting dialogue access. For each required transaction, you decide in detail which groups of people are allowed access. It is often overlooked that the critical S_RFC privilege object requires an analogue permission assignment. If the RFC (Remote Function Call) external access permissions are unneatly defined and assigned to the users, the S_TCODE authorization object quickly bypasses the primary protection for bootable applications.

Secure your go-live additionally with "Shortcut for SAP systems". You can assign necessary SAP authorizations quickly and easily directly in the system.

So much information... how can you keep it so that you can find it again when you need it? That's what Scribble Papers is great for.

With these values, you allow access to the logical databases SAPDBPNP and SAPDBPAP and thus to all contained root data.

This is because the entries in the user buffer only have to be stored once for the reference user and not more times for the inheriting users.
