What is BASIS?
SAP Basis consultants are experts in consulting. The job of an SAP Basis consultant has many areas of responsibility, such as designing applications, installing support for SAP modules, analyzing and optimizing processes, creating reports, and modeling and extracting data.
However, the tasks also include strategic and planning aspects. For example, administrators define requirements and standards, select and control upgrades or extensions, implement monitoring processes, and take care of necessary backups and emergency management.
SAP Development
For existing solutions, it is necessary to assess to what extent the solution is customised. A modification is the more serious the more time-consuming the maintenance is, including testing, e.g. in the case of upgrades. The fewer customer specifications are available, the more suitable a system or application is for external operation by a service form to be chosen.
The comprehensive analysis provides the pattern and roadmap for the next steps. This also includes the right sizing, the selection of the monitoring concept and the appropriate deployment model, i.e. on-premise, cloud or hybrid cloud. Only with this planning can you ultimately achieve the desired goal - with transparent costs.

Especially data that is archived.
The freeware Scribble Papers is a "note box" in which all kinds of data can be stored. It takes in typed texts as well as graphics and entire documents. The data is then organised in folders and pages.
This is partly due to the late consultation of the SAP basis on the issues of technical feasibility as well as the integration of new technologies and applications into the existing system landscape.
