SAP Basis operations manage the IT underlying the SAP system. In addition, the operation ensures the maintenance and availability of business processes. Various tools can be used for this purpose, which take over the maintenance, servicing, configuration and monitoring of the SAP system. Basis operation is the prerequisite for ensuring that the SAP system is fully operational and covers the business processes well.

The SAP Patch Manager offers two scenarios for inserting support packages or queues: Test Scenario Use the test scenario to determine whether conflicts or problems occur (e.g., unreleased repairs) or whether a modification match is necessary before the actual insertion. This scenario allows you to estimate and minimise the time and effort required to load support packages. In this scenario, no data is imported into the system, and you can continue to play in the event of an error without the error being corrected. You must select the test scenario explicitly. Note that once the test scenario has passed, the queue is empty and needs to be redefined. You must also explicitly choose the default scenario.
EDI enables companies to exchange business data such as purchase orders or invoices electronically. This data exchange is known as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). What steps are needed to exchange data between two systems? In this post, I'd like to show you how to configure your SAP system so that an order, after it has been released, is sent electronically to your supplier. Data exchange between two systems requires a valid RFC connection to the receiver system and a transactional RFC IDoc port.
