Since the maintenance effort would be too great if individual authorizations were entered in the user master record, authorizations can be combined into authorization profiles. Changes to access rights take effect for all users who have entered the profile in the master record.
By clicking on the Registration Data button, you start the RSUSR200 report and you enter the selection mask. This report allows you to select users by login data. You can also determine if a user has changed his initial password. You can select a predefined variant from the catalogue using the button (Get variant) or the key combination (ª) + (F5).
Customizing
Is it necessary for your evaluations to select the blocked or invalid users? This is now directly possible with the extensions of the user information system. There is always a requirement to evaluate the existing users in your SAP system. Examples may include lists requested by auditors. In such a case, you naturally want to exclude invalid users and those with administrator lock from the selection. Up to now, you have had to perform various evaluations with the reports RSUSR200 and RSUSR002 of the user information system (transaction SUIM) and subsequently edit the lists. The findings may not have been accepted by the auditors as the lists were visibly manipulated, even if this manipulation was justified. You can now enter this selection directly. We will show you below how to search for users with password or administrator lock or exclude them from your selection.
The handling of organisational levels in PFCG roles wants to be learned. If these are maintained manually, problems arise when deriving rolls. We will show you how to correct the fields in question. Manually maintained organisational levels (orgons) in PFCG roles cannot be maintained via the Origen button. These organisational levels prevent the inheritance concept from being implemented correctly. You can see that organisational levels have been maintained manually when you enter values via the Ormits button, but the changes are not applied to the authorization object.
