Set up permissions to access specific CO-PA measures
Authorization check
You can send a signed e-mail to the system you want to announce the certificate to. For example, this is a useful alternative when emailing addresses outside your organisation. A prerequisite for this solution is that a signature certificate exists for your SAP system, in whose certificate list the certificate authority certificate - or certificates - of your users have been imported.

You can use the function block level permission check by setting the FUNC value in the RFC_TYPE field in the S_RFC authorization object. If you still want to allow function groups, specify the value FUGR here. Depending on the RFC_TYPE field, type the name of the function block or group in the RFC_NAME field (name of the RFC object to be protected). This extension of the test is provided by the correction in SAP Note 931251.

If a call to a transaction has been executed through a button in a Web Dynpro application, you must make the Object-based Navigation settings for the transaction to call. To do this, select the appropriate item in the (F4) Help. You may need to ask the developer of the application for navigation information.

You cannot increase the retention time afterwards; Therefore, you should adjust the configuration in good time before starting a project. In addition, you should change the settings of the stat/rfcrec and stat/rfc/distinct profile parameters. For example, you should increase the value of stat/rfcrec to 30, and stat/rfc/distinct should be set to 1. This improves the completeness of the recorded RFC usage data. For details on the technical improvements, see SAP Note 1964997.

During go-live, the assignment of necessary authorizations is particularly time-critical. The "Shortcut for SAP systems" application provides functions for this purpose, so that the go-live does not get bogged down because of missing authorizations.

The freeware Scribble Papers puts an end to the confusing paper chaos. The tool is also suitable for storing, structuring and quickly finding text documents and text snippets of all kinds in addition to notes.

Therefore, structural authorizations should only be used together with general authorizations.

These rework can be complex if the underlying selection of proposed values cannot be restricted.
