If an entry in transaction SE97 is correctly created, a permission check is performed in the same way as a transaction startup authorisation. This approach therefore requires an exact and complete configuration for each transaction that is invoked. The required effort and the space for errors are correspondingly large. The CALL TRANSACTION ABAP command does not cause a transaction startup permission check. Without a permission check, the ABAP programme could unintentionally allow users to access system resources. In many cases, such authorisation problems lead to a hidden compliance violation, because this means that the traceability of user actions in the SAP system is no longer guaranteed. A developer should not rely on the functionality of the SE97 transaction and therefore should include the possible permission checks in the code. Therefore, one of the following explicitly coded permission checks for the CALL TRANSACTION statement must be performed.
The implementation of the time-space validation checks is carried out as an additional time-space filter. For selection criteria outside the valid time period, the message "Not authorised to display data from this time period" appears. However, if the selection criteria are partially within the valid time period, the documents that are outside the time period will be filtered out by the system without the user receiving a notice. In the example shown in the above figure, users of the BP-NRW Verifier Group would be left without comment when calling the vendor list for the period 01.01.2010 to 31.12.2014. This system behaviour can be somewhat irritating.

Some queries are also a bit complicated with the SUIM transaction. With SAP Query, you can quickly assemble queries that enable individual and more complex data evaluations. Do you want to know quickly which valid users currently have a modified access to a particular table, or what roles are users granted permission for a particular transaction? For example, if you want to know what roles users are entitled to perform the SCC4 transaction, you can use the SUIM transaction to query to determine which users can perform the transaction and view the roles that enable it in another query, but there is no result that shows both.
You can create such an organisational matrix as an Excel file or in ABAP; This depends on how you want to read the data.
