Grant permission for external services from SAP CRM
ACCESS CONTROL | AUTHORIZATION MANAGEMENT FOR SAP®
Are you using SAP NetWeaver Business Client instead of SAP GUI? The arrangement of the applications on the screen is controlled by PFCG roles. The SAP NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC) is an alternative to SAP GUI for access to SAP applications. This allows you to centrally access applications that reside in different SAP systems and have different UI technologies. The NWBC enables you to call not only transactions, but also Web-Dynpro applications and external service applications. In this tip, we will show you how to use PFCG roles to control the design of the NWBC user interface.

By correcting SAP Note 1692243, you can now also use the report in a ZBV (Central User Management) environment; It is no longer limited to individual clients. If the role assignment of the ZBV in the SCUM transaction is set to global, it is sufficient if the correction is recorded in the central client. Then it is only possible to execute the report in the central client. Furthermore, you have the option to select the ZBV's subsidiary systems from the Receive System drop-down box in such a way that only the systems in which the role assignment is to be consolidated or deleted are taken into account. In the results list of the consolidated role assignment, you will now be listed in the ZBV-System column the subsidiary systems where consolidation or deletion took place.

Evaluate the criticality of the security advisories for your company and also take into account the risks that may arise from the introduction of the SAP notes. This may include, for example, risks or expenses due to change and the corresponding tests in a productively used business process. Depending on this evaluation, you decide which safety instructions you want to insert directly and which hints should be implemented in the next maintenance cycle.

Anyone who owns valuable personal property assumes responsibility for it - just like a landlord, for example. He decides whether changes need to be made to the building, whether privacy hedges need to be planted in the garden or whether superfluous old appliances need to be disposed of and, if necessary, has a new lock installed immediately if the front door key is lost. He may forbid visitors who are not relatives to enter the bedroom or the daughter to have a public party in the house.

Secure your go-live additionally with "Shortcut for SAP systems". You can assign necessary SAP authorizations quickly and easily directly in the system.

So much information... how can you keep it so that you can find it again when you need it? Scribble Papers is a "note box" that makes this very easy.

The new security policy allows you to define these user-specific and client-specific.

If you are unable to insert a support package at the moment, SAP will also provide you with the priority 3 and 4 security advisories.
