Consolidate user-level role mapping
PRGN_COMPRESS_TIMES
If you only want to translate the description of the role, it is recommended to record the PFCG transaction and to change the source language of the role using the Z_ROLE_SET_MASTERLANG report before the LSMW script runs through. The report on how to change the source language can be found in SAP Note 854311. Similarly, you can use the SECATT (Extended Computer Aided Test Tool, eCATT) transaction to perform the translation instead of the LSMW transaction.
This list in the AGR_1252 table contains both the organisational fields that are shipped in the standard and the fields that you have collected for organisational fields. Unfortunately, the list does not indicate what kind of organisation field it is. But you can find out: Open the PFCG_ORGFIELD_DELETE programme via transaction SA38. The Organisation Level Value Helper (Orgebene) provides a list of all customer-specific organisation fields, because only these can be converted back to normal Permissions Object Fields. Note the implications if you want to actually run this programme.
Implementing Permissions Concept Requirements
Launch the QuickViewer for SAP Query with the SQVI transaction. Create a new query named ZMYSUIM on the entry screen. Enter a description of it and - this is the most important step - specify a table join as the data source. You can now specify your data sources on the following screen. You can select the tables in the menu via Edit > Insert Table (or by pressing the button ). In our case, this would be the AGR_ 1251 table for the Role Permissions Values and the AGR_USERS table for the user assignments in rolls. The system automatically proposes a join of the tables via shared data columns. In our example, this is the name of the role.
Depending on the configuration of root data and processes, different permission checks can be relevant, so that it makes sense to adjust the proposed values. If custom applications have been created in the form of Z-transactions, Web-Dynpro applications, or external services, you must maintain suggestion values for these applications to avoid having manual permissions in the PFCG roles. You must ensure that custom applications are not always visible in the SU24 transaction. This is the case for TADIR services and external services. To learn how to make these services available for suggestion maintenance, see Tip 38, "Use the SU22 and SU24 transactions correctly.".
Assigning a role for a limited period of time is done in seconds with "Shortcut for SAP systems" and allows you to quickly continue your go-live.

eCATT is also no exception, so many users are still afraid to use it.
